Structural Steel
EN1090-2

Structural Steelwork

By law, Structural Steelwork must be supplied by an EN 1090-2 accredited fabricator to ensure safety and compliance.

However, many building inspectors and even structural engineers often overlook this requirement.

Since 2014, this regulation has been in place, and failing to comply could impact insurance claims on your property.
The EN 1090-2 UKCA marking guarantees that structural steel components are designed, fabricated, and installed correctly. It ensures that materials are traceable, welders are qualified, and all equipment and consumables meet strict standards.
Upon project completion, a Declaration of Performance is issued, certifying compliance and allowing the work to proudly carry the UKCA marking—giving you confidence in the integrity of your structure.

If you already have structural steel calculation drawings and would like us to quote your work email the drawings and specifications to enquiries@prestigeweld.co.uk
